The style of play reminds me of Trey Lyles, obviously Mitchell puts up better numbers but something about his style reminds me of Lyles.

A complete big, has he always been this good? High IQ and great fundamentals.
Tre is "Mr. Consistency" (good!)
can always count on him, even if it's an "off night" .... he's such a leader and always even keeled, but stays emotionally into the game and love to see him supportive even when he's on the bench. No doubt, he is INTO IT !
Some of the best moments I have already taken away from him is watching him on the sidelines cheering, like @Florida when he was cramping, but like a true warrior, coming in to finish things off. That, and seeing him get fired up on the court as well.

He doesn't have Padgett's impressive ears, but not a bad comparison.
This. His game really does remind me of Padgett. More of a finesse 4 with range. Thankfully, we are doing 4 and 5 out sets to take advantage.
In the past Cal might have forced Mitchell to post.
He should teach our other bigs the inside angles and footwork moves he is great at around the basket.
