The provost at UNC isn't answering anything about the past......

20 years my behind , those scumbags have been cheating since the 1950's and deserve the death penalty ,instead the crooked NCAA will give them a stern warning and help them to next years Final four like they do for duke all the time

He just wants to move forward and 'learn' from past mistakes..............mistakes that they admit happened for 20 years.

Wake up NCAA; you're being challenged and you're haven't gone public yet.

Are you waiting for the 2016 elections to pass? Jeez.....
It's like the bank robber saying he's learned and won't do it again but unfortunately the NCAA seems to be siding with crooked UNC.

There is absolutely no proof that UNC cheated.

I think we all understand the technicalities and loopholes that UNC and it's fans cling to - the biggest being "this is an academic and not an athletic problem." We will see if that saves you. Who knows, maybe it will knowing the NCAA and it's selective enforcement.

The truth is, we all know "the Carolina Way" is a fraud (you know it too).

So whatever happens, we've lost all respect for UNC and their "student" - athlete charade they've been carrying on for years. Whether or not you will admit it, you've also lost respect for yourselves.

There is absolutely no proof that UNC cheated.

Mary Willingham herself has said that she (along with others within UNC) knowingly turned in documents to the NCAA verifying that athletes were eligible when she knew that they were based on fraudulent classes. That's widespread fraud right there, which directly breaks the rules set out by the NCAA manual.

Beyond that, the only two players who we've seen the transcripts for (Julius Peppers and Rashad McCants) has examples of them receiving fraudulent grades which allowed them to claim to be eligible. More fraud on the part of UNC.

The transcripts are the smoking gun. Frankly everything that UNC and the NCAA have done to date has been nothing more than an elaborate smoke screen to avoid doing a thorough analysis of the transcripts as compared to the known bogus classes.

Look how long they took to punish Syracuse, by that standard they got a couple more years to sweep it under the rug and hope everyone forgets or gives up,NCAA enforcement = garbage

Are you LD? (Learning Disabled) and yes there is plenty of proof UNC CHEATED since the 1950's,I have a brother and an uncle one recruited and played ball and one was an asst coach at UNC in the 50's ,thecheating started under Frank McGuire until he got busted by the NCAA (before it turned full crooked and ran by UNC/ACC members,Big Tobacco $$$$,and North Carolina Politicians). That's why this crap is lollygagging around, the cheating runs so deep it involves former and present Senators,Representatives,Judges, and other highly positioned alumni from that outhouse hole, anybody that thinks that UNC didn't cheat for 60 years is either Mentally Retarded or just plain too stupid to help,I'll bet you voted for that Communist Muslim Traitor in the White House

Ha! UNC fans are claiming stupidity now? There is proof in the reports your PR firm allowed to be published. Your school is a total joke. "Get some fries and a UNC AFAM degree!"

The issue with all this could be that UNC loses zero of their fraudulent titles, especially 2005. The Syracuse investigation conveniently left out any issues tied to the 2003 team....which all of of course happened immediately afterwards.

After what Jon Scott stated, we all know you could pick any 2 of the players on that 2005 roster and they would have similar transcripts of what we saw from McCants. There is no way the NCAA or UNC would allow those to be released or even publicly acknowledge. That's not academics folks; that's crooked business the Roy Williams way.

I think the USGS will have to update their topographic maps for North Carolina. They currently show Mount Mitchell as the highest point in NC at 6,684 feet...but the mountain of fraud in Chapel Hill is 10x that...
