Just saw this headline this morning:
www.nbcnews.com
The article states that this company -- Mar-Jac Poultry -- is the same company that was operating a poultry processing plant in Mississippi where a 16-year-old kid was killed while working in the plant. OSHA found Mar-Jac directly responsible for the 16-year-old kid's death. There's a wrongful death civil suit pending in Mississippi.
I post this because of Mar-Jac's business association with Tyson Foods -- whose Board Chairman, billionaire John Tyson, was directly involved in getting CCC's contract set up with the University of Arkansas. Tyson Foods and Mar-Jac were involved together in a price-fixing scheme for which Tyson Foods paid over $40 million in fines in 2021.
Obviously, CCC has hitched his wagon to the Tyson Foods money. It may be interesting to see how all of that plays out over the term of CCC's contract with Arkansas.

Four minors found working at Alabama poultry plant run by firm found responsible for teen's death
Mar-Jac Poultry has denied it knowingly hired minors for its Jasper, Alabama, plant, and also argued some workers were doing jobs that are not banned by federal rules.
