Just my opinion, I think it's a little high on points. I can't see us averaging 80+ ppg.

Guard oriented team, and 2 of the top 4 players in the class (in my opinion) in Labissiere and Murray (who is a flat out scorer), who will come in and be in the discussion for All-American honors (any of the 3 teams). That, and I also think it will be a product of tempo to a degree. Should be the most up-tempo team that UK has had under Cal (even more-so than 2010 where UK averaged 69 possessions per game, and 79 ppg, or 2012 where UK averaged 66 possessions per game, and 78 ppg).

If I may:

Ulis- 8.2ppg, 6.5apg
Murray- 16.8ppg, 4.1apg
Matthews- 5.3ppg, 3rpg, 1.5apg
Poythress- 10.7ppg, 7rpg, 1.6bpg
Labissiere- 17.1ppg, 11rpg, 3.3bpg

Briscoe- 11.6ppg, 2.7apg
Mulder- 6ppg, 2rpg, 1.3apg
Lee- 4.7ppg, 5.2rpg, 2bpg
Willis- 3.2ppg, 1.8rpg
Hawkins- 2ppg, 1apg, 1spg

Let's not forget that the shot clock is 30 seconds now. This can only stand to benefit top teams, especially UK. More possessions equals more points, 80-85ppg is not out of the question for this team.

Murray - 15ppg
Skal - 13ppg
Briscoe - 11ppg
Poythress - 11ppg
Ulis - 9ppg
Mulder - 6ppg
Lee - 5ppg
Matthews - 3ppg
Willis - 2ppg
Hawkins - 2ppg

I think we will. I know we can. Didn't the Carolina team with May and McCants and them average like 92pts a game? I know one of those UNC teams did but it may not have been that one.

I'm one of the people who believe Lee's gonna break out and have a good year lol. But you may be right because he's the only backup big so that means lots of PT. I just kinda figure he'll have a big impact by his defense, shot blocking, rebounding, high motor, and that he'll primarily score on just lobs and off offensive rebounds. Lee isn't too skilled offensively, but neither was WCS so he can have a big time impact and get drafted with just averaging 5-6pts, and 5-6rbs per. But you may be right anyways. Since he'll be on the floor so much there's a good chance of him putting up say 7 or 8pts and 6-7rbs. I hope he does anyways.

Briscoe: 8.5 pts 2 ast
Murray: 19 pts 3 ast
Poythress: 12 pts 8 rebs
Labissiere: 16 pts 9 rebs

Hawkins: 1.5 pts 1 ast
Matthews: 4.5 pts 1 reb
Mulder: 6.5 pts 2 rebs
Willis: 2 pts 1 reb

With the 30 second shot clock, I believe 80 is possible. . If teams decide to zone to slow the game down then we got guys like Murray, Ulis, and Mulder to shoot us out of it..

78-80 range is what I am thinking. That's on par with 2010 and 2012.

Ulis 10pt, 2reb, 5ast
Labissiere 12pt, 7reb, 2blk
Poythress 10pt, 8reb, 1blk
Murray 13pt, 3reb, 2ast
Briscoe 10pt, 3rb, 2ast
Lee 7pt, 5reb, 1blk
Mulder 6pt, 3reb, 1ast
Matthews 4pt, 2reb, 1ast
Hawkins+Willis 3pt, 2reb, 1ast

Total 75pt, 35reb, 13ast, 5blk

We are not scoring 80/gm!
2010 team did score 79/gm, but that was with Wall, Bledsoe, Cousins & Patterson.
The 2012 team did score 77/gm, but that team shot 3's like no other UK team ever has (40%)
No other UK team under Cal has gone over 74.8/gm.
I think this team will be in the 74-77 range, depending on how well they shoot 3's.

Memphis averaged 79.9 in 2008.

I think we will average around 78, but only because SEC teams will work so hard to slow us down. Would LOVE to see us top 80.

There's some good offensive weapons in this team. Combined with the shorter shot clock, I could see right about 80 on offense.

Ulis 9 pts, 6ast
Briscoe 10 pts
Murray 16 pts
Poy 11 pts, 8 reb
Skal 14 pts, 9 reb

Lee 8 pts 8 reb
Matthews 5 pts
Mulder 7 pts

The great prognosticator has spoken.

Tyler Ulis - 11 pts, 7 asts, 3 rbs, 2 stls (42% from 3)
Isaiah Briscoe - 12 pts, 3 asts, 3 rbs, 1 stl (36% from 3)
Jamal Murray - 17 pts, 4 asts, 4 rbs, 1 stl (41% from 3)
Alex Poythress - 11 pts, 8 rbs, 2 blks, 1 stl (37% from 3, low volume) + half an assist per game
Skal Labissiere - 15 pts, 9 rbs, 4 blks (36% from 3, low volume) + half an assist per game

Bench:
Charles Matthews - 4 pts, 2 rbs, 1 stl (36% from 3)
Mychal Mulder - 5 pts, 1 rbs (43% from 3)
Marcus Lee - 9 pts, 8 rbs, 2 blks (0% from 3, no volume) + half an assist per game

Team:
84 ppg
38 rpg
15 apg
6 spg
8 bpg

If we get that, other teams are gonna spend a lot of time in the woodshed.

Tyler Ulis - 13pts, 6asts, 2rbs (43% from 3)
Isaiah Briscoe - 13pts, 4asts, 3rbs
Jamal Murray - 16pts, 3asts, 3rbs (42% from 3)
Alex Poythress - 9pts, 8rbs, 2blks
Skal Labissiere - 15pts, 9rbs, 3blks

Bench:
Charles Mathews - 5pts, 3rbs
Mychal Mulder - 7pts, 3rbs (42% from 3)
Marcus Lee - 5pts, 5rbs, 2blks

i think Ulis will get 7-8 assist per game. Last year he had 3.6 apg, and he did some off guard duties in these minutes. He'll get 30 mpg, and will be playing around many good shooters.

People were worried about shooting on this year's team. Even before Murray's addition, i feel like we have great/solid shooters that will help spacing and better utilize our athleticism.

Tyler Ulis - 10 pts, 7.3 apg, 2.2 rpg
Isaiah Briscoe - 13 pts, 3.0 apg, 4rbs
Jamal Murray - 16 pts, 3.0 apg, 4rbs (42% from 3)
Alex Poythress - 12 pts, 7.0 rpg, 1.5 blks
Skal Labissiere - 15 pts, 9.5 rpg, 2.8 blks

no idea about bench.

I make a stab at this every time someone posts it. And each one is different based on how I feel at the time. So here is my next round of guesses:

Ulis - 9 pts 1 reb 6 assists
Biscoe - 10 pts 3 reb 2 assists
Murray - 14 pts 4 reb 2 assists
Poythress - 9 pts 7 rebs 1 assist
Skal - 13 pts - 9 rebs 1 assist

Lee- 6 pts 6 rebs
Mulder - 8 pts 3 rebs 2 assist
Matthews - 6 pts 3 rebs 1 assist
Willis/Hawkins/Wynyard 4 pts 5 rebs

That will put us at 79 ppg 41 rpg 15 apg

The (point) averages of what has been posted so far:

Murray 15.9
Skal 14.4
Briscoe 11.1
Poythress 10.7
Ulis 9.9
Lee 6.8
Mulder 6.5
Matthews 4.6
Willis 2.0
Hawkins 1.4

Murray - 15ppg
Skal - 13ppg
Briscoe - 11ppg
Poythress - 11ppg
Ulis - 9ppg
Mulder - 6ppg
Lee - 5ppg
Matthews - 3ppg
Willis - 2ppg
Hawkins - 2ppg
I like this prediction the best. Those are the stats i would guess. Murray will be the leading scorer on the team. He will be the number 1 scoring threat on the team. He will be our go to scorer when we need points.
