my company is starting to put data limits on their provided cell phone. Needing an option for streaming music/Netflix while not on wifi. Friend has a Framily plan I can hop on for 45/month, unlimited everything.

How's the reception/speed of network, etc.?

Thanks

Anywhere in Fayette comes in as 4g lte on mine. The speed seems to vary though. I haven't done Netflix with it but I do stream a lot of music and download big podcasts and it seems noticeably slower from around noon to 6:00. I assume that it's because of usage but not sure.

I have Sprint and I'm just waiting out my contract to switch. Another month! Check online, but I'm not sure they have that deal anymore.

I guess they were grandfathered in. I'll double check though...thanks.

Work phone is Verizon, so it's not like I wouldn't have a backup. I realize Sprint isn't tops.

Sprint has gotten better and the unlimited is nice, but the speed is mediocre. Switched to Verizon last year and haven't regretted it one day since. The cap on data does kind of suck, but anywhere you go it's not going to be perfect.
