Interesting read on where they re-ranked the HS seniors to where they have performed to date. Just shows you those rankings change constantly. You don't rely on a player in HS who is ranked high to be a top draft pic when they fall down on their face in college. Some guys plateau in HS and others do in college or the pros.

The college basketball landscape changes a whole lot faster in the full-fledged one-and-done era. Hours from now, 60 young men, most of whom spent at least one year playing college hoops, will become NBA players. A handful of them, like Wisconsin’s Sam Dekker and Virginia’s Justin Anderson, were just celebrating their high school graduations three years ago. Believe it or not, they’re two of the last players from their class who will make the jump to the NBA.

Just two of the top 10 players from the class of 2012—Kaleb Tarczewski of Arizona and Alex Poythress of Kentucky—remain in college. With that class all but gone from the college game, we at SI.com thought it would be fun to go back and re-rank its top 25. Before we get to the rankings, a few notes on how we settled on the reassembled list.

• All players from the top 100, according to RSCI Hoops, were considered eligible from the list. As you’ll see, not every top 25 player made it back into the list three years later.

• Only college careers were considered. That means no bonus points for the great season Nerlens Noel just put together for the NBA’s 76ers.

This is so dumb. Goodwin is in the nba so he's penalized for only staying one year?

What a way to re rank the class.

One of the dumber pieces I've read in awhile. Perry Ellis over WCS was particularly hilarious. Just goes to show you that most of these professional sportswriters don't know any more about sports than the average Rafters idiot.

What an ignorant, awful list...

The class was not that good. Major reason why we were NIT bound.
The rankings are on college production. WCS may have been drafted high but that was mainly on potential. I'd love for WCS to average 12 boards or so a game like you would think a 7' athletic freak would do.
Sam Bowie was drafted on his potential as well. It will be interesting to see how his career goes.

Quite a fall for Poythress. Went from Top 10 in 2012 to not even making this list today. Hopefully he can change that direction this year.

Just because it's worth reiterating... Author is a Wisconsin Alum and an admitted fan. Not that he hates us but.. well. yeah he probably hates us. Kentucky continues to to enrage everyone it seems.
