Question. How many Father/Sons have played for Kentucky?

Are Jeff and Reed the first? I have to admit my memory is terrible.

Of course, we have Jeff and Reed Sheppard. If you take that further, then you have something that may never happen again, and that is Mom/Dad/Child all wearing Kentucky blue.


If it's happened before I am just drawing a blank on it.

Not the only family matter either. Next season when Karter Knox plays for Kentucky we will have brothers playing together here for the 2nd time in the passed 10 seasons(Wagner and Watkins).

So, from the looks of that, the first Father/Son duo was Ed Parker and his son J. Ed Parker

Brown and James Sharp were the 2nd

Bert and Phil Johnson were the 3rd

Im counting Adolph and Herky as 4th though Adolph was the coach and not a player
