Movies in 2024

I'll see these at the theater for sure:

Dune: Part Two. I'm not crazy over Part One (too much of the plot was omitted), but Dune's one of my favorite books, so I'll see Part Two.
Godzilla X Kong. One of my nieces wants me to take her.
Furiosa. I love the Mad Max movies. Fury Road > Mad Max > The Road Warrior > Beyond Thunderdome.

I might see these in theaters:

Beetlejuice 2. It'll probably suck but I loved the first one when I was a kid.
Gladiator 2
Nosferatu

Untitled The Karate Kid film sounds amazing. So does Untitled fourth Bad Boys film, and Untitled Universal Monsters film

I saw The Road Warrior at Cinemark last week. 10/10.

And Last Night With the Devil's awesome.

Alright, so it's not winning any awards, but I really enjoyed the Road House remake. It was simple, straight forward, good set pieces and filmography. Some suspect screenplay and dialogue choices. But otherwise a lot of fun. Perfect Friday night movie.

Some people are torn on McGreggor being in it.. but Road House was ALWAYS cheesy and over the top.. and let me tell you, Connor fit in perfect. What an absolute menace of a character. Think of him in the octagon x5 haha. And that mileage may vary for some.

Late Night with the Devil was a lot of fun.

Still not sure how I would rate it, but it is one of the more interesting movies from a stylistic standpoint that I've seen in a long time. They didn't quite stick the landing, but I'll be watching again when it hits streaming.
