Saw the play, "If All the Sky Were Paper" at the Kennedy Center in DC this weekend. Not sure if it'll travel elsewhere but if you ever get the chance...
It's by Andrew Carroll who wrote the book War Letters, and who has spent many years gathering the best of all the letters ever written from War Zones by Americans, and others. Some amazing stuff documented in the letters, and the play was dramatic readings of some of the best, with period imagery and music on a screen behind.
It was a great Memorial Day weekend tribute to the sacrifices of people in the military from the Revolution through Iraq and Afghanistan.
