Lets not act superior.

The fact is that he would be CRAZY not to at least hear them out and listen.

OKC has 2 of the top 5 players in the world, they've played for K on Team USA and are still very close.

Despite not being an LA or NYC, OKC is a great place to live.

And he's already conquered college basketball, he's conquered the international stage with 2 olympic gold medals, all thats left is the NBA. Maybe he is at least INTERESTED in hearing what they have to say?

Also this is an underreported story but the Thunder have been basically the worst pro franchise in recent history with there treatment of the local media in the last 3 seasons. They are the only show in town in OKC and if a media member writes or reports on a story in a way that the Thunder don't like they pull player availability and try to punish the media outlet. We all know K's feelings on half-time interviews and how much he likes to rule his kingdom even going so far as to "approve" chants at Duke for the student section. If he coached there the Thunder would give him the control he covets and other than the occasional interview for national media outlets he could ignore the local media and the Thunder wouldn't blink.
