Briscoe's position

be funny as hell if they listed em on the tv that way for the starting lineups.

Fun as hell to watch too. All three can get the ball and push the tempo. And Poythress is not bad at handling the ball. Theoretically, any of those four can get the ball and go. I'd love to see that line-up go.

Positions matter on defense more than offense, especially with this team. We are going to have at least 2(hopefully 3) guys that can handle the ball and direct the offense on that end of the floor.

Most college teams play a point(1), two wings(2 and 3), and two posts (4 and 5). Some play a point (1), three wings (2, 3, and 4) and a post(5) (Duke, Michigan, ND).

Defensively, Ulis is going to guard the smallest guard, probably the guy running the show on the other team (the point) or if you are using numbers, the 1 spot.

Briscoe can guard one of the wings, probably the best scorer on the perimeter. Once again, if you are using numbers, then the 2 or 3.

Murray (if he comes) would guard the other wing (2 or 3). If not it will be Mulder and Matthews guarding the other wing spot.
