9 wins with a decent QB

Lot of people laying the blame at his feet , I certainly think its fair to say hes been inconsistent , but IMO its been a terrible combination of WR's who dropped a ton of balls , and bad play calling going deep so often . At first I liked NOT being so dang conservative , but at some point STOP asking DL to hook up with BB .. It hasnt worked the entire season . JMHO but BB lack of effort and willingness to bust his ass to separate and catch some of the catchable balls hurt as much as DL's overthrows . Brown is guy thats highly overrated .

He really locks onto WR's, has a long windup and I've never seen so many batted passes. But we have much bigger probalems than Leary. If he were in a better system he could be much better. We saw that at NCSt.

Leary hasn’t played well. Some of that has to be on him. But we brought in an uptempo spacing offense qb and put him into something else. That’s on the staff. And for all the fan ‘it’s NIL’ stuff, if we didn’t get a transfer and had to play with what we actually recruited out of high school we would have 2 wins this year.

Stoops tries to put square pegs in round holes to make fixes. This year is the future if the fan base does not wake up and see how UKs record for the last 10 years is all smoke and mirrors.

So in short, it’s a Busch League operation from top to bottom. Have to agree, but Leary does stink.

Any qb that comes is gonna struggle because our coach wants to play games with scores 17-10. Coen can’t fully do what he wants because of stoops. The operation from top to bottom is bad and it’s time for a reset, stoops needs to move on and so does Kentucky

It’s a complete system failure
We play to damn slow on offense - need to quit huddling and forcing ball to BB - need to pick tempo up - play Cummings more with Dingle - go to shorter routes - eliminate dumb plays like toss sweeps to the boundary or backwards passes to BB

On defense - Weaver has been MIA all year we get no pressure from edge players. Interior lineman outside of Walker appear out of shape or downright slow.
Secondary outside of Hairston is really bad
Nothing will change under Stoops he doesn’t have the balls to play aggressive

Can you win playing a pro style offense at a place like Kentucky? The only teams that have success in college running this type of system is usually the ones with a roster full of five star recruits. Coen done better his last time, but he had a starting NFL QB and starting NFL receiver on the team.

The other point in running pro style is that with dependence on the portal the pro style requires a lot more learning and the reality is does a player have time to learn going into a season just moving over when he hasn’t been in the program to learn it. Just not enough time to pick it up on short turn arounds
