Jan. 14 & 16 - DeMatha Catholic H. S.; Hyattsville, MD, JR, 6¡|9¡¨, C - Defeated Northwest Catholic (CT) 78-57. Lost to Bishop Gorman (NV) 65-73. Sat with some DeMatha old-timers. BeeJay lost 30-40 lbs. since last year and has a real good body. Not sure his is projected for a 5 in college, but I would like to see him at the 4. Mostly played inside, however. Had great stats Saturday: 24 points; 9-14 FG; 6-8 FT; 9 Rebs; 3 TO¡|s; 1 Blk; 3 Steals. Saturday was a different story, going against powerhouse Bishop Gorman. Maybe he was like the rest of us and just enjoyed watching Shabazz Muhammad dazzle the crowd ?º In this game BeeJay scored only 4 point; 2-6 FG; 0-2 FT; 7 Rebs; 2 TO¡|s; 3 Blks. If he makes as much progress over the next year as he did this past year he will be a force during his Senior year!
